Monthly Worship Night
Ladies -
Join us each month in 2023 for a worship night here at the Alliance Church.
This is an informal evening of singing together in praise of our God.
Our worship evenings are the last Friday of the month at 7 PM. We'd love to have you share in this worshipful time together.

THE LOVE OF GOD
Our Women's Breakfast held at our church on Saturday, September 17, was a wonderfully encouraging morning with delicious food! Many thanks to Terri who organized the event and our delightful speaker, Carmen, who shared from her heart about the Love of God poured into her life.

The purpose of Dawson Creek Alliance is to glorify God by proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ and persuading men and women to become his disciples and dependable members of His Church.
To be clear: this is a very important issue with implications for ministry and leadership. It brings up important matters like Biblical exegesis and application, but it does not undermine the good news that God is reconciling all things to Himself and should not be used as an unhealthy divisive tool amongst the church.
Good Friday Service
We are sharing this service with the new MB church here in Dawson Creek and invite you to join us, if you don't have a service to attend this Good Friday, April 15th.
The service is at 10:30 AM.
We'll have a fellowship time following the service with Ukrainian Paska bread and beverages.
We want to give you the opportunity to make a donation to support Ukrainian refugees. All funds will go directly to the ministry arm of our C&MA partner churches in Poland who are caring for Ukrainian refugees fleeing to Poland.
(All donations will be matched by Dawson Creek businesses up to $10,000, dollar to dollar, until April 24th.)

What to Expect on a Sunday Morning Service
Our Sunday morning worship services include times of worship through music and teaching. Currently, we are able to meet in-person with no mask or number restrictions. If you prefer to wear a mask when attending the service, please feel free to do so.
We are excited to offer Sunday School (Kids Zone) this fall with dismissal during the service. We have a great Sunday School curriculum from The Gospel Project that "is designed to help your child LEARN the gospel story of Scripture, LOVE the Author and Subject of that gospel story, and then LIVE out their part in this ongoing gospel story."

Game. Video/Discussion. Food.
Alpha is a place for food, fun, and space to have real conversations where everyone is heard. The topics of discussion will be around life, faith, and God, with engaging videos that teach these topics from a Christian worldview.

ANNOUNCEMENT
With saddened hearts we announce the resignation of Pastor Cyril Marlatt as the Servant Lead Pastor of our church. We are grateful for his four years of service with our church family in which we have been spurred on to share the Good News of the gospel of Christ.

SUNDAY SERVICES
"I was glad when they said to me, 'Let us go to the house of the LORD!'" Psalm 122:1
At this time, as we are limited to the number of people in the church for our services, we are offering two service times to accommodate as many as possible.
We can have two separate groups of 50 people in the facility during our 11 AM service as long as we have separate entrances and exits, and these groups do not commingle. Kids Zone (Sunday School) and Jr Youth students will meet weekly downstairs in the basement of the church during our second service. As a parent, if you would like to stay closer to your child(ren), please register "Downstairs" when registering, and then stay downstairs in the Youth Room to watch the live streamed service. Understand that you must not go upstairs, as we cannot have any commingling between those who are registered upstairs and those who registered downstairs.
